The Prayer of Too-Much

May I always be too much.

May I passionately love

all my cycles and phases,

all my colors and faces.

May I rise into my body

and live the dance—

a wild creature invoking

Goddess rhythm.

May I be myself—

a heaven on earth.

My words, a temple.

My legs, a forest.

My heart, a drum

of fierce rage

and compassion.

May I wield the

pen bravely,

spit the truth,

fire my magic.

May I embody

my true, reborn heart,

my too-much self,

my eternal blessing,

my shining treasure—

this gift of too much.
